This month MyNextMatch™ launched a groundbreaking medical passport solution for combat sports. The MediCard software allows combat federations to medically assess and track their athletes, creating a historical medical ‘footprint’ for each competitor.
MyNextMatch.com launched in July 2016 and allows national and international sporting federations to register and manage their events, athletes and clubs for free.
Our latest technological advancement, a medical passport solution which gives approved doctors the platform to examine athletes.
With the aim to bridge cross-sport medical data loss, each athlete who is an affiliated member of their national governing body will have a digital medical card. Certified doctors will be able to perform their medical checks in real-time, from anywhere in the world.
The MediCard has been in development for two and a half years and was designed alongside Team GB Olympic Medical Head Dr. Mike Loosemore.
The newly introduced online medical passport will undoubtedly lead the way for medical safety in sports, giving federations an unprecedented amount of knowledge in regards to large scale athlete well-being, also allowing federations to breakdown medical data in accordance with age and gender.
MyNextMatch™ CEO and Founder Oner Avara commented: “The MediCard is arguably our most visionary creation of all, a revolutionary tool in sports medical safety. With the help of expert doctors and medical professionals and the support of IMMAF, we have been able to execute our vision for a legitimate, safe and secure online medical passport.”
In 2017, the MyNextMatch™ MediCard was shortlisted for the 2017 Sports Technology Awards in the category of Best Technology for Managers and Coaches - Athlete Welfare. MyNextMatch® was also listed as one of the top 50 most innovative companies for 2017.
